First time on CD worldwide! Features the hit single “Rain in May” (2 Germany, 3 Netherlands, 10 Switzerland, 10 Belgium, Top 75 U.S.).
Kayak singer/drummer Max Werner scored a solo hit that eclipsed his decade-long stint with the band when he released “Rain in May” in 1981. It’s meticulously produced parent album, ‘Seasons,’ is a concept album chronicling the passage of the four seasons.
Singing drummer Werner was influenced by his peer Phil Collins’ groundbreaking drum sounds on “In the Air Tonight” and ‘Peter Gabriel 3.’ The experimental yet accessible and melodic ‘Seasons’ unfolds as a drum-driven symphony of early ’80s song-oriented progressive/art/synth rock. Remastered by Wouter Bessels.
For fans of Kayak, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Kate Bush, Steve Hackett, Gary Numan. Includes bonus track.
