“25-year-old Watkinsville, Georgia, native Gavin Adcock has barreled his way through country music’s gates with the same intensity of a raging bull that he as a child witnessed on his family’s cattle farm.
On his new album, Actin’ Up Again, the former Georgia Southern University football player turned country music artist unleashes his raw, vigorous, won’t-be-held-back energy. Among the 16 tracks that comprise Actin’ Up Again, Adcock wrote, or co-wrote, all of them including “A Cigarette” which has garnered 68 million+ streams and counting.
Adcock has spent years winning over a young, raucous, audience with his no-filter approach to songwriting, unpredictable live shows, and a brawny, confident persona that, while respectful, will never apologize for who he is. With over 345 million US streams collectively to his name, no apology needed.
